We spent the morning drinking Starbucks and listening to the reading of the Declaration from the Old State House, where it was originally read on July 18 1776. Every year the reading is different- most often, a bit polluted with a Boston accent and the mispronounciation of a few words, but always interesting to hear.
Awesomely, Kyle and Allison invited us over to their amazing apartment in the South End where their roofdeck afforded a great view of the fireworks, downtown Boston, and delicious grilled foods.
