What a weekend!

This holiday weekend we did everything but go to Ikea. Eric flew home Wednesday (hallelujah) and Thursday we enjoyed Thanksgiving at the 'rents. I forgot the camera, sadly, and have no beautiful pictures- will have to poach.
But it was the original Watkins Four and spouses: dad, Uncle Bill, Aunt Jill and Aunt Jan and Hal was the only baby in attendance which made for lots of open arms and kisses, and compliments on his hat. Aunt Jerry passed on some My First Thanksgiving socks which added to the cute factor.
The food was excellent (America's test kitchen turkey is a winner- thanks Dad) and baby even took a short nap upstairs.
Friday I worked and we got to visit with Cathie and Katie Walsh- the stories coming from the Walsh clan always entertain and laughs abound. We need to get our butts to Memphis!

This week we started a little rice cereal- we were curious if it would help his sleeping (as predicted by studies, it didn't) and we thought it would be fun. Since the smelly and infrequent poops, we've stopped. But it made some good pictures! Hal may or may not have gotten small bites of sweet potato, pumpkin pie and whipped cream courtesy of Grandpops Jim.

Saturday I worked again and in the afternoon we ate at Torchy's tacos and took yet another stroller walk (3 for baby that day!) to the park with Georgie.

Sunday we trekked to Sherman. Not that exciting a destination, but Eric had never been, so we hit the highlights and after baby fell asleep in the car, headed home by way of Costco, a major endeavor in itself. The Belden St. House! (Ugly portico included)

Eating at M.G.s...

On the road again...
