Little Man Mcgoo turned 6 months last week and is becoming more and more of a little man. He is a delightful baby - actually, I'm not sure you received the memo, but God made the best little baby and the most handsome in the whole world and is loaning him to us for the time being. He makes another only every 5 years, so everyone can keep waiting. We have the most beautiful baby until 2015. Did I mention he was Precious with a capital P? Perhaps you need to see him in person to believe me. The pictures don't do him justice.

Super dad.

This was his father's idea of "cleaning wear."
Things about baby Hal Bear. He talks all the time to folks he knows well, loves banging things together, has two little teeth and can give kisses. Playtime is all seriousness, wherein things must be accomplished and there is discussion surrounding difficult tasks, and lots of laughing at the dog (who couldn't care less).
Hal loves to nap- does a good job napping and will close books we are reading when he gets tired and look longingly at his crib. He loves gazing at trees and is sweet and patient in the car (unlike his two month self who cried in the car). He loves laughing at snorting noises, moos, and anyone doing a 80s style Christy Brinkley hair toss or Lana Turner glam hair swivel thingy.
He knows where the real stuff is (phones and computers) and twists his little hands around like a funny conductor when he wants something or wants to be picked up.
Yesterday was the first day we were buzzed by the nursery at church because he realized we were gone and was inconsolable.
Best things in the world: the piano. Worst things in the world: loud music in the mall.
Hal is a sweet guy, into the small things and the fine motor skills. Not huge on moving around- takes his time. He's a thinker, calm and sweet, talking and taking things in stride.
Eric is in Mexico City for work and missing him sooooo much. Hal sends love to his Daddy and wishes he could hear the piano.
